Parent Support

Our parent and family support representative, Amber Reynolds, is available via email, phone or video chat. Check out below some of the great opportunities that she is offering to support, encourage and train parents & families. If you want to find out more about Amber you can read her bio here.

Amber is always open to providing more remote support opportunities. If you would like to join a book club, marriage connect, homeschool chat or any other type of focused discussion - please email her directly

  • Join us via zoom for Moms Connect twice a month during the week at 8:30pm. This is a time to come in your PJs with a cup of tea and have a safe space to process this journey we are on. This hour together has no agenda, simply a time to share what is going on in our families, brainstorm ideas together and share resources. We'd love for you to join us.

  • If evenings are a little too chaotic or booked up, Moms Connect is now happening once a month at 1pm during the week. If it is easier to connect while kids are at school or in quiet time and naps, this might be a great fit. This hour together also has no agenda but is simply time to safely share what's on our hearts and support each other.

  • Watch for more details coming soon…

  • Please contact Amber if you are interested in doing a book club via Zoom.

  • Amber is available to do remote private coaching sessions with parents who would simply like to connect with another adoptive and special needs parent that understands the unique journey we are on. Her passion is to provide hope, encouragement, trauma education, parenting tools and resources. This can be one time or ongoing, whatever meets your needs. These sessions are one hour in length via zoom and by appointment.

  • Would you love to connect with other adoptive moms, but have a hard time committing to a zoom date and time? Sometimes life can feel chaotic and too busy for that but we still want to provide a way that you can connect and not feel alone. Amber will be facilitating Marco Polo chat groups to get to know one another and communicate joys, struggles, prayer requests and encouragement. These groups will be kept to small numbers, so it is easier to get to know one another and keep up with the videos. Marco Polo is a video chat app that allows you to have discussions back and forth. You can listen and respond on your own time.

  • We are excited to provide Hope for the Journey remotely to our farm families again this year. It's wonderful to have additional tools in our toolbelt as parents. We will have digital links to give out again starting in April and you will have until the end of June to complete it. If you would like to be put on the list to receive one of those digital links, please email Amber. There will also be zoom chats scheduled in May if you would like to connect with other families and talk about the content. Training hour certificates are available. Learn more.
