FOUNDER
Liv purchased the Bien Aimé property after falling in love with the many acres of woods & beautiful farmhouse. Sadly, Liv passed away on May 26, 2023 but her legacy lives on as many families can still come and enjoy the peace & rest found on her farm.

Laurabeth Katnik
DIRECTOR OF EQUINE PROGRAMMING
Laurabeth (LB) has a nutrition degree & a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & Equine Assisted Mental Health. She & her husband, Dom, enjoy life with their dog, Bauer, in Coon Rapids. Laurabeth has a passion for adoption & loves working with the animals & families at the farm.

Lisa Bodkin
DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE ARTS
Lisa has a passion for…you guessed it: art! She also loves working with kids & hiking with her husband, Tim, adult son, & daughter-in-law. Before joining Bien Aimé, Lisa worked for 20 years as a youth associate & art/interior design specialist at New Hope Church.

Ashley Blackstone
EQUINE INSTRUCTOR
Ashley is working towards her Master’s in Clinical Counseling & has a background in horse training & EAL. She lives in Monticello with her husband Dan daughter Rachel and dog Gracie. Ashley is passionate about the therapeutic work of our horses at Bien Aimé!

Kristen Crowe
FAMILY CARE COORDINATOR
Kristen and her husband Jon have 6 children - 4 biological and 2 adopted internationally - their son from India and their daughter from the Philippines. She is a homeschool mom, passionate about supporting adoptive families and advocating for children who are waiting for their miracle - a family to call their own!

Tim Bodkin
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Tim is married to Lisa - you can tell because they have the same accent! Tim has over 30 years experience in both technology and church ministry. He is currently an independent IT contractor dividing his time between 3 different churches, a camp, a school and the farm.
