Gear Up In 2025

If there is one thing we can all agree on, men love their gear! Whether it's hunting, fishing, sports, cars or toys, men get pretty excited when it comes to acquiring tools that make the journey easier, more rewarding, or simply more fun. This Spring we are hosting two exceptional opportunities to support and equip our dads, as we "gear up" for 2025 and who God is calling us to be on the home front.

“Knowing Rediscovered: Living fearlessly in your true identity”

Hosted by Rich Egeberg

Our goal is to grow closer to the Lord and gain an understanding of who we are in Christ through an exciting video series and discussion by Jamie & Donna Winship: Knowing Rediscovered.  Men are invited to arrive Friday February 28th at 3pm with wrap up occurring 4pm Saturday.  All meals and refreshments will be provided.

The inspiration behind Knowing Rediscovered came from the realization that we didn’t really know anything. We had a lot of information in our heads, but our hearts were longing to really know and be known. All the data in our heads did not remove the fear, doubt, unworthiness, and shame that was in our hearts - the place where true knowing resides.

Session topics:

  • Learn to hear God’s voice

  • Discover your true Christ identity

  • Uniquely nurture the relationships you are

Session I:

Drawing from the account of Gideon found in Judges 6, Todd will be exploring with participants four self-leadership principles to help us Gear up, to go up. To be effective men within society, our churches, and our homes, it starts with recognizing the gifts we each have, taking an inventory of the unnecessary items we may no longer need, and learning to acquire potential new tools we need for this season in life.

Session II:

Have you heard of “weaponized incompetence?” If not, ask your wife or the closest women around you, and she will let you know what it is! A term that is being hurled towards men and creating a narrative that is leaving both husbands and wives feeling hurt, unseen, and misunderstood. But what if we as men could change the narrative? What if we could learn some simple and effective approaches to communication and showing up as husbands and fathers that could change the course of our experience with the ones we love most? This session will give you the gear to show up differently in 2025.
